USA men’s national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann said Saturday’s game between the US and Mexico will be played at home in a match that will be televised by NBC and streamed live on NBCSN.

Klinsmann said the game was to be played in Houston and it was a natural fit, given that the venue is a venue that has hosted multiple World Cup matches in the past.

“The city of Houston has been a big soccer community for decades,” Klinsman said.

“This is a good opportunity to bring this tournament here and it’s a great place for us to host it, and also to showcase our brand and our national team.”

Mexico and the United States will meet at Toyota Stadium on Saturday in the final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The US defeated Mexico in the semifinal and the winner will advance to play in the next round.

The US team is also hoping to get a win over Costa Rica, which defeated Mexico 3-1 in the second round on Wednesday.
