The USA have been crowned the 2018 FIFA World Cup champions.
The USA had already clinched a place in the semifinals when the defending champions of the 2018 tournament were defeated by Italy 2-0.
However, the Americans are now the only team to have secured a spot in the final.
The United States’ victory is the biggest single victory of the tournament so far, beating England, Brazil and Colombia in the group stages and then beating Uruguay 2-1 in the quarterfinals.
The Americans were also the only nation to beat the likes of Colombia, England and Brazil in the qualifying tournament.
The USA have not lost in World Cup qualifiers since they were defeated 2-2 by Uruguay in the second round of the qualifiers.
The last time they lost a World Cup qualifier was to Colombia in 1958, and it was the only time they were knocked out in the first round of qualifying.
The Americans also clinched their spot in Group A with a 4-1 victory over Mexico on Wednesday, with the USA advancing to the round of 16.
In the quarterfinal, the USA beat Argentina 4-0 in the round robin, but lost to Brazil 3-1.
In the second-round, the United States lost to Ecuador 2-3.
The winner of the World Cup will face South Korea in the 2018 Olympics in August.
